The Independence Day Celebration is a family oriented collection of activities focused around our Nation’s birthday. In addition to the spectacular fireworks display, the Celebration also includes music and dancing in the Grandstand area.

San Francisco – Flash! Sparkle! Pop! The City of San Francisco will treat spectators to an elaborate fireworks display over the San Francisco Bay.

For added fun, visit PIER 39’s East Park to play in a the magical Smurf Village, meet real live Smurf characters and get a taste of the upcoming Smurf adventure, Smurfs 2, by sliding down the Eiffel Tower Slide.

Lake Tahoe – Offers one of the largest firework display in the western United States. Over the lake every year on Independence Day gather thousands of spectators to enjoy the grand firework shows. Best place to view them is the beach or on a boat bellow the fireworks.

We have done all of the above before and our favorite place to view fireworks is in our hometown with our friends and family.
