Apple Monster Mouths

These Apple Monster Mouths are a fun twist on healthy apples & peanut butter for Halloween! Your little gobblins will “gobble” them up! Making teeth out of the marshmallows might be the most entertaining part. Get the kids in the mix and see what your little monsters can come up with.

Apple Monster Mouths Ingredients:

Apple Monster Mouths Directions:
  1. Add 8 drops of food coloring to peanut butter and mix well to make it more mouth colored.
  2. Slice off the sides of the apple leaving a 1″ section in the middle, which includes the core.
  3. Slice each of the sides in half and then cut out a wedge in each to make a mouth.
  4. If you are making these up in advance, use lemon juice on cut areas of apple to minimize browning.
  5. Fill mouth with peanut butter.
  6. If your apples are small, only one row of teeth will fit.
  7. If you are using marshmallows, allow them to sit open on a counter for several hours to begin to dry out, so they are easier to cut.
  8. Use scissors and cut diagonally to sharp fangs or horizontally to make teeth.
  9. Use a knife to trim almond slivers if you want a nice straight edge for teeth.

This isn’t Extreme Couponing, it’s Effective Couponing! There is a method to my madness as well. Not only do I find sales & deals for you, but in doing so, I find sales & deals for me too. It’s a win win 😉 Plus I’m able to teach others to do this at the same time, which I love!

I started following The Coupon Wizards after doing some research on the subject, with a little prodding from a friend, and coming across them on Facebook. I was hooked immediately & started to learn quickly. Mostly out of necessity, but also because I loved everything about it. The organization, the researching, the putting together of deals, but most of all, the savings! I was saving my family money to pay those bills & be able to eat all at the same time. This blog was a life saver; literally! In no time at all, I was a blogger myself on the site. My husband has since found a job, but this is now mine and I love, love, love it and hope you will to.
