Bourbon Grilled Pork Chops

Easy doesn’t begin to describe this Bourbon Grilled Pork Chops recipe and there are only 4 ingredients. You can substitute peaches with canned pears or apricots, canned or fresh pineapple or fresh sliced apples to suit your own taste. If you want a little spice add red pepper flakes when you heat the fruit.

I served with green beans tossed with a little low sodium soy sauce and pepper along with mashed sweet potatoes I thawed that morning. Following recipe serves 4.

  • 4 pork chops about 1″ thick
  • Bourbon chicken marinade, found in the marinade aisle
  • 10 oz bag frozen peaches, thawed
  • 1 tsp buttery spread

  1. Marinade pork chops in bourbon chicken marinade at least 3 hours.
  2. Remove excess marinade from meat and discard marinade.
  3. Grill on indirect heat 3-4 minutes.
  4. Flip and grill on indirect heat 2-3 minutes.
  5. Move chops over flame to caramelize 1-2 min.
  6. In the meantime, melt buttery spread in non stick skillet, add fruit, drizzle just enough marinade on fruit to coat; about 2 TBSP.
  7. Heat through and serve over pork chops.
