What’s The Difference Between The Roku and Apple TV?

The Roku that we talked about in article 2 is similar to the Apple TV. They are both priced similar and offer streaming and some of the same channel options. The Roku 3 offers many more streaming video services than Apple TV including Amazon Instant Video which isn’t available with Apple TV. If you’re really watch a lot of the premium channels and want a lot of options, like HBO Go, Netflix and Amazon Instant Video, and you can live without YouTube and iTunes on TV, Roku is the way to go. If you’re already an Apple owner with an iPhone, iPad, Mac and a big library of iTunes music and movies, and you can live without Amazon Instant Video, then Apple TV is right for you.
