Chicken A La Yumm Is What’s For Dinner

Chicken A La Yumm Recipe

Chicken A La Yumm came about when Wiz Kid Gale Kelly gave me a recipe. I played with it and added a couple things and this stuff is amazing! I know of couple of Wiz Kids and Wizards that have already made it and was a hit in their homes! As for the name of this dish, Gale and I came up with Chicken A La Yumm! LOL This is not low calorie by any means, but it is a wonderful comfort food dish for any lazy or cold night when you need to warm up the bones!

Chicken A La Yumm Ingredients:
  • 3-4 Chicken Breasts
  • 1 Box Stove Top
  • 1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 Can Progresso Garlic Recipe Starter
  • 1/4 – 1/2 Cup Melted Butter
  • Your choice of shredded or sliced Mozzarella, Provolone, or Swiss Cheese
  • Your choice of seasonings

Chicken A La Yumm

Directions:
  1. Place your chicken breasts in a baking dish and add seasonings you like. I use salt, pepper, garlic powder, and some onion powder.
  2. Put your cheese slices or shredded cheese on top of chicken.
  3. Pour your can of Progresso recipe starter and your can of cream of chicken soup in a pan and warm until it is smooth.
  4. Pour your soup mixture on top of chicken.
  5. Next pour your stove top on top of soup mixture. Pat the stove top into the soup mixture some. Last thing is to pour your melted butter on top of the stove top.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 – 45 minutes or until chicken is done. The FDA recommends chicken be cooked to a temperature of 165 degrees. For best results I always make sure to use a meat thermometer to make sure my chicken is cooked to the safe temperature!

Chicken A La Yumm

This is one of my husband’s favorite dishes. Put your chicken on your plate, then take the soup and stove top mixture and pour on top. We love to eat with a salad and carrots! But you could pair it with so many different things!
