Copycat Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Living in Florida, I rarely go to Red Lobster. Let’s face it, we have fresh seafood on nearly every corner here. However, I do go there at the request of friends or family if we are out of town and I have to tell you, my favorite part is the Cheddar Bay Biscuits! Now I can have the best of both worlds! I can get my fish fresh off the boat, but also have my biscuits fresh out of my own oven! This is a great copycat recipe and extremely easy to make.

Copycat Biscuits Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 4 tbsp cold Butter
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • 3/4 cup cold Milk
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 2 tbsp Butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Dried Parsley Flakes
  • pinch Salt

Copycat Biscuits Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Combine Bisquick and cold butter. Leave larger pieces. There should be small chunks of butter pea sized.
  3. Add cheddar, milk and 1/4 tsp garlic.
  4. Mix by hand until combined, but don’t over mix.
  5. Drop 9 equal portions onto a greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-17 minutes or until tops are lightly browned.
  7. Melt 2 tbsp butter in a bowl.
  8. Stir in garlic powder and parsley flakes.
  9. Spread garlic butter on top of biscuits.
