CVS Trip from 2-13

CVS Trip Pic 2-13-15

I haven’t had a “real” CVS trip since about October of last year and I’ve been carrying around a $10 CVS gift card ever since. Today was the time to use it. If you’re a member of our group Red Hot Coupons, you probably saw my post about going crazy trying to find $11 in ECBs (not from Oct, just a couple small trips here & there) so I could use them as well. In the process, I also discovered a $20 Visa rebate card I had forgotten about too. Suddenly, what was going to be about $30 out of pocket, turned into $14 out of pocket, plus I’m getting a $10 rebate back from L’Oreal!

For this trip I ended up with 78% savings; 93% after my $10 rebate comes in. I count rebates & cash back in my totals, only because it’s like cash to me. I “borrow” the money for the current deal and put it back when the rebate comes. I never count ECBs until I redeem them though. Just in case you wonder about that. Below is what I got and any coupons I used. The L’Oreal deal actually ends tomorrow, but the rebate offer doesn’t end until 3/31 so there’s plenty of time to wait for another deal.
