Depending on the size of your ornaments, this mixture will make 2-3. Materials: Clear plastic ornaments Funnel 2 cups whole powdered milk 1/2 cup cornstarch (soothes and relieves dry, itchy skin) 1/2 cup baking soda (softens skin) 6 tablespoons dried Lavender, divided 10 drops of Lavender essential oil.
Directions: Remove the tops of the ornaments and set aside. In a small mixing bowl, combine the powdered milk, cornstarch and baking soda with a whisk. Spoon the dry milk mixture into your ornament, using the funnel until it is about a third of the way full. Add a tablespoonful of the dried lavender and shake gently to settle (you may decide you need another tablespoon or two depending on the size of your ornament). Next, add 5 drops of the lavender essential oil. Repeat the steps again with the dry milk mixture, dried lavender, and essential oil, then top with the dry milk mixture. Secure the top of the ornament, and decorate with ribbon, baker’s twine, etc.
