Green NY Resolutions

We all get busy around the holidays and- well, every day really. I wanted to remind everyone just how important it is to take time to unwind and pamper yourself. Taking something like Vibes CBD gummies from https://vibescbd.co.uk/ to help you relax, or taking the time to exfoliate your skin can do wonders for your skin, wellbeing, and confidence.

For the new year, let’s try and use more natural products when it comes to pampering ourselves. Who needs all those chemicals in skincare when we can go green? Nothing looks more beautiful than clean, healthy skin. I’ve never been much of a makeup wearer and it shows. Using things that come from the earth just feels good on your skin and gives your skin that smooth, natural glow.

Let me share some of my favorite “green” skin care recipes and tips. Use these at your own discretion.

Here’s a soothing “green” bath soak for the upcoming cold/flu season.

  • Cold/flu relief soak
  • 2 cups of epsom salt
  • 3 drops of eucalyptus oil
  • 3 drops of rosemary essential oil
  • Combine ingredients and pour into the stream of warm running water as the tub fills. Enjoy your soak!
  • Stick around, there will be more “green” tips and ideas coming soon! ~Lori

Lori, I take a lot of baths with Dead Sea Salts from Israel. They soothe my muscles when I’m in a Fibromyalgia flare up. They also make my skin so soft! I buy them from TJ Maxx because not only are they inexpensive, they are real sea salts. I will only use the ones that come from the Dead Sea, because they’re the only ones that really work. I like the idea of adding a few drops of the oils. I have done this before, but I am really happy you wrote this article to see which of the oils you recommend! Thank you so much for sharing!! 🙂
