List Organization Savings

list organization

You’ll love my list organization! I bought the 10 pack of Publix $5/$30 store coupons from Wiz Clipz and you can only use one at a time so I had to split my transactions up. I only had time for two stores today so I made sure they were the ones with coupons expiring or the sales price ending today.

Total day   $114.60 … OOP $10.49 … Saved $104.11  =  91% savings

MQ = Manufacture coupon
SQ = Store Coupon
OOP = Out of pocket

Transaction #1, Total $61.72 … OOP $1.09 … Saved $60.63

Not pictured is Florida’s Natural grapefruit juice. I was running late for church and somehow forgot to grab it from the fridge at work. The items on sale ended tonight. My list organization method is coming soon….

  • 10 boxed Fiber One cereal 2/$5 – (10) $2/1 SQ and (10) .75/1 MQ = $2.50 MM,  all will be donated
  • 6 cans Muir Glen Organic Tomatoes  $1.69 each –  (2) Store coupons $2/3 + (3) $1/2 MQ printable = .52 each
  • 1 Florida’s Natural OJ, on sale $3.00 – no coupon
  • 1 Florida’s Natural Grapefruit, sale $3.00 – .55 printable mq = $2.45
  • I used 1 $5 off $30 store coupon

Transaction #2 , Total $52.88 … OOP $9.40 … Saved $43.48

Two of my coupons didn’t ring up right and a line was forming so I went to customer service to get my .64 back.

  • 4 Ragu BOGO $2.59 – (2) .60/2 MQ = $1.00 each
  • 4 Lipton $1.59 not on sale – (2) $1/2 SQ and (2) .60/2 MQ = .79 each
  • 4 Oceanspray BOGO $3.85 – (2) BOGO printable = free
  • 2 Emerald nuts BOGO $6.99 – (2) $1/1 MQ = $2.50 each
  • 2 Kraft Homestyle BOGO $2.59 – (1) $1/2 = .80 each
  • 1 UP2U gum .99 – $1/1 – .01 MM
  • I used 1 $5 off $30 store coupon

My List Organization for Split Transactions
While this does look like a mess it’s actually organized.

  • Quantity
  • Product
  • OOP price
  • Retail value

At the bottom I made a list of which items to purchase together to reach my goal of $30.00, subtracted the $5/$30 SQ along with the total MQ’s and that’s what I will pay at the register. That’s all my list organization is. I clipped the coupons together needed for each trip and numbered the transactions by importance. Transactions #1 and #2 had to be done today. The sale ended today and/or I had coupons expiring today. Transaction #3 needs to be done by 2/3.
