My Take on Target

take on target

Do you like to shop at Target? It’s one of my favorite stores! By now, you have seen the series that has been published on navigating Targets – where things are placed, how their sales work, even how their clearance is priced.  I am hoping to give you a perspective through a real life trip to Target that not only shows how their coupons work, BUT how I turned my own husband into a believer!

I need to start by saying that I love my store.  I’m not sure if it’s because it’s a newer store (by newer I mean it doesn’t show up on my 3 year old GPS and they only have had fresh groceries about 6 months), but the staff is fantastic.  I never have had a problem with coupons, or sales, or even returns. NEVER. I am not jaded enough to think all stores are like that, but I shop there often because of it.

Introducing Hubby to Target

My husband, Brett, is never with me on shopping trips.  So this was a first for him. We dropped our oldest at preschool, and list in hand, headed to Target with the baby. To him, it was just like I was throwing stuff in the cart.  Here’s how our trip fared:
