New CVS Program for Diabetics

There is a new CVS Program for Diabetes patients! If you have an ExtraCare card from CVS, and you are a diabetic, or know someone who is, there is a relatively new program that has been launched. CVS has evolved their “ExtraCare for Diabetes” program for those who need special supplies and nutritional supplements.

What is it?

“Every 17 secocvs diabetesnds, another American is diagnosed with diabetes,” said Papatya Tankut, RPh, Vice President of Pharmacy Affairs, CVS/pharmacy. “CVS/pharmacy is committed to being a resource for patients dealing with a new diagnosis or looking for ways to cut health costs without sacrificing care. Our pharmacists and our diabetes support programs are resources that patients can turn to for information and advice.
