Pulled Pork: Dr. Pepper Style!

Crock Pot Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork

Two of my favorite things rolled into one; Dr. Pepper and pulled pork! The best part is it’s done in the crock pot. My third favorite thing. Can’t wait to try it!

Ingredients for Pulled Pork:
  • 3-4 lb Pork Loin Roast
  • Pork Rub or your favorite seasonings
  • 12 oz Dr Pepper
  • Barbecue Sauce (to taste)

Directions for Pulled Pork:
  1. Season pork with your rub on all sides.
  2. Place in slow cooker.
  3. Pour in Dr Pepper.
  4. Cook on low 10-12 hours.
  5. Drain most of the liquid.
  6. Use tongs to shred pork.
  7. Add barbecue sauce to taste (I use a whole bottle)
  8. Stir well and reduce temp to warm for serving.
  9. Serve on buns with cole slaw on the sandwich or on the side (optional).
